There are many ways to stay connected at NDC. Not only are there growth groups for you to connect with, but there are also several service ministries that have been designed to better our church and surrounding community.

​Audio/Visual, Tech, and Social Media Ministry
Galatians 5: 22-23 - But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control. Against such things there is no law.
NDC’s Marketing Team manages all of the print and digital publications, advertisement, marketing material and designs distributed by the church. The Audio/Visual Team controls and produces the church’s visuals and audio during all workshop services and events.

Community Outreach Ministry
1 Thessalonians 5:12 -Now we ask you, brothers, to give recognition to those who labor among you and lead you in the Lord and admonish you
The purpose of the Community Outreach Ministry is to meet the needs of people within the community. Leading people to a better life while expressing God’s love in ways that build relationships and provide opportunities to share God’s plan of salvation. Volunteers will assist with special outreach events/initiatives throughout the year.

Greeter Ministry
Deuteronomy 10: 19 - You shall also love the stranger, for you were strangers in the land of Egypt.
The purpose of the Greeter Ministry is to help prepare the way for a person to encounter God in the worship service. Greeters are often the first touch therefore it is important that they show love and kindness to congregants who choose to worship with a special welcome whether it is their first time or they have been with us before. They help to control & maintain traffic flow throughout the building providing direction &/or information. Greeters will make themselves available to speak with and answer any questions which might have arisen.

Men’s Ministry and Growth Group
Proverbs 27:1 - As Iron sharpens iron, so one man sharpens another.
The Men’s Ministry works to unite, equip, and develop men to be followers of Jesus Christ as well as helps to develop men into disciples, godly husbands, fathers, grandfathers, sons, and brother thought the word of God and prayer. The ministry hold monthly fellowships that are open to men of all ages.

Seasoned Adults Gaining Excellence (SAGE) Ministry and Growth Group
Job 12:12 - Wisdom belongs to the aged, and understanding to the old
Congregation and community members ages 60 and over meet once per month to engage in activities, education sessions, discussion, and lunch with one another! All sessions include a theme and a talent-sharing opportunity!
Music Ministry
Psalms 95:1- Come, let us sing for joy to the LORD; let us shout aloud to the Rock of our salvation.
NDC’s Worship and Arts Department works to set an inviting and participatory atmosphere of praise and worship during all of worship service. Rather through dance or song, this department creatively sets the tone for NDC’s service and invites our members and visitors into worship. This ministry consists of 4 Dance Groups, 2 Praise Teams, and 2 Choirs.

N.D. Kids Ministry & Nursery
Matthew 19: 14 But Jesus said, “Let the children come to me. Don’t stop them! For the Kingdom of Heaven belongs to those who are like these children.”
The ND Kids Ministry connects children age 0 to 12 to Christ through interactive lessons and activities making learning fun. Volunteers are given a curriculum to teach the children weekly along with an activities plan including a meal that help to further develop our children spiritually and socially.

NDC Pantry
John 6:35 - Jesus said to them, “I am the bread of life; whoever comes to me shall not hunger, and whoever believes in me will never be thirsty.”
The role of the Pantry Ministry is to show love of Christ by distributing food, clothing, and household products to those in need.

Chrysalis Single Parent Home Ministry and Growth Group
PRoverbs 3:5-6 - Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways subit to HIm, and He will make your paths straight
The Single Parent Home ministry meets twice monthly for scripture study, support, resource sharing, and edification in life, love, and child-rearing. Single parents with children of all ages are welcome in this fellowship.

Pastor’s Partners Ministry
Hebrews 13:7 - Remember your leaders, those who spoke to you the word of God. Consider the outcome of their way of life, and imitate their faith.
The role of NDC’s Pastor Partners Ministry is to aid and help support the physical, personal, and financial needs of the first family. The Pastor’s Partners oversees the pastoral anniversary along with other special events and dates throughout the year honoring the Pastor and his family.
​Resource Ministry
Romans 12:13 Contribute to the needs of the saints; extend hospitality to strangers.
The role of the Resource Ministry is to attend to the needs of the church and community by providing assistance and resource connection for food, clothing, and housing support to those in need. This ministry serves both the church membership and greater community.​
Teen Ministry and Growth Group
I Timothy 2:22 - So flee youthful passions and pursue righteousness, faith, love, and peace, along with those who call on the Lord from a pure heart.
The Teen/Youth Ministry works to help each teen and youth ages 13-17 to develop spiritually and personally. This ministry meets on Wednesdays for bible study and on Sundays. The teens have their own curriculum where they, through activities, lessons, and events; learn how to grow and explore. They learn how to successfully navigate through their teen years and develop into spiritually mature adults.

Usher Ministry
Romans 12:13 - Contribute to the needs of the saints and seek to show hospitality.
The Usher Ministry works to prepare people for a positive worship experience. The duties of this ministry include: aggressively and cheerfully greeting and seating people, controlling and maintaining adequate traffic flow throughout the sanctuary and balcony area(s), serving as additional directional help and assistance throughout the building, and working to ensure the member experience is positive and healthy.
Women’s Ministry and Growth Group
Ephesians 2:10 - For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.
The Women’s Ministry works to develop a sisterhood that generate spiritual unity within the women of the ministry. This group meets biweekly ad typically uses a Women’s Based curriculum to help encourage and uplift the ladies weekly. This ministry also meets for monthly outings and fellowships.

Security and Parking Lot Ministry
Colossians 4:6 - Let your conversation be always full of grace, seasoned with salt, so that you may know how to answer everyone
Members of the Parking Lot and Security Ministry work alongside the other hospitality ministires to welcome, assist, provide for, and protect members and guests of New Direction Church. They are in position for every worship service and other ministry events to facilitate a comfortable and positive experience for all participants.

Couples Ministry and Growth Group
Ecclesiastes 4:12 - and a threefold cord is not quickly broken
The Couples Ministry meets monthly to engage in discussion, fellowship, and relationship-building activities for couples married, engaged, and.dating-with-intention-to-marry.
